Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I had delicious turkey and even tried mommy's dressing. I have so many things to be thankful for. I'm most thankful for my daddy and my truck.

The arrival of Thanksgiving means the Polar Express and Christmas boxes come down from the attic. I'm off to help daddy hang lights outside. I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner! Blessings to all!

Aslan-o-Lantern

I was so excited to help daddy carve my first jack-o-lantern! First, we had to scoop out all the goo!

Carter supervised to make sure we were being safe.

Happy Halloween!

My Little Brother

My little brother is one month old today! Happy month-old birthday, Carter! Until mommy is able to get Carter a blog site up and running, I told her she could post some pictures of him on mine for all of our friends and family to see. I hope you enjoy my little brother as much as I do!

School is in!

After two great years at The Owl's Nest, I have moved on to a new school. This picture was taken on my first day of going to Holly Tree. I was a little nervous and shy at first, but after finishing my first week, I love my new school. My teacher's name is Miss Micky. My friends are Luke, Alex, and Bradley. Holly Tree has the best playground ever! My favorite part is running up and down the big ramp. Luke and I take turns being dragons and spitting fire! The only downside of school is the food. But I'm trying every day to be brave and try lunch. Mommy and daddy say that when I get hungry enough, I'll eat. Overall, I give Holly Tree an A+!

Daddy's Boys

I have the best daddy in the whole wide world. I know Carter will think so too. I say that God gave daddy two arms...one for me and one for Carter. And that's a good thing!

Sweet Dreams

This is one of mommy's favorite pictures. It has nothing to do with the fact that we're somewhat getting sleep in our house! Notice how we both sleep with our mouths open. Definitely brothers!

Big Helper

Now that we've been home a few weeks, I realize how hard mommy works, not just taking care of Carter but me and daddy too. So, I've assumed my new role as big brother and try to help out whenever I can.

Home From the Hospital

After a few days in the hospital, it was finally time to bring Carter home. What I thought was going to be a big day for Carter turned out to be a bigger day for me.

When we got in the house, daddy told me Carter had one more big brother present for me. As I walked into the den, I couldn't believe my eyes. In front of me was the backhoe loader I saw at "F.A.O. Shorts" when we went to "The New York." At first, I was in complete shock and didn't know what to do. I just stood there and stared at it, wondering if this was for real. When I finally pinched myself and realized this wasn't a dream, I ran over and immediately went to work! This big brother thing is turning out to be a pretty sweet deal!

It's Official...I'm a Big Brother!!!

My baby brother, Carter Shea Hullett, was born on July 24th at 11:04 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 9 1/2 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. I think he has my nose and lips. He and mommy are doing well and getting plenty of rest.

When I got to the hospital, Carter had a big brother present waiting for me. It was this really cool tanker truck. I think I'm going to like my little brother! Thanks, Carter! I can't wait until we can play trucks together.

My Big Boy Room

Everyone knows how much I love trucks...especially construction trucks. With Carter coming, I had to move out of the nursery. Since I'm going to be a big brother, I needed a special big boy room. And this is what I got! Daddy, mommy, and Aunt Linny spent weeks putting it all together for me. Daddy did the design and construction while mommy and Aunt Linny did all the painting. I think my bed is the coolest part. The wheels of the truck even spin! After storytime underneath, I love climbing up my ladder into my dump truck bed. Mommy and daddy don't leave without getting a kiss through the window. It's hard not to have sweet dreams in this bed!

Waiting on Carter

I can't believe I'm going to be a big brother any day now. Mommy is officially due on July 25th. All of Carter's baby things are set up for his big arrival. I can't believe I used to be that small to fit in all that stuff! I hope I have some great news to announce very soon!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Chattanooga!

Over the weekend, me and the girls (mommy, grandma, and Aunt Linny) headed down to Chattanooga for the day. Grandma wanted to take me to the Tennessee Aquarium. Since I have my own fish tank, I was so excited to see lots of fish. Before we ever even got inside, I found a fun little water spot to play in!
Once inside the aquarium, I couldn't believe all that there was to see, do, and touch! I got to touch a stingray and a sturgeon fish.

Inside the butterfly house, a beautiful blue butterfly landed right on my hand. I said, "Wow!"

There were a couple of exhibits that had glass tunnels I could climb into to get a close-up view of fish and crabs. Who knew Nemo would be there?! I also saw sharks, jellyfish, frogs, turtles, river otters, seahorses, snakes, alligators, and LOTS of fish!

The aquarium was great but the "destery" (pedestrian) bridge was really what I was looking forward to. It was a big "tunnel bridge" just like in St. Louis, except this one I got to walk across. When I wasn't walking, I was skipping with Aunt Linny. And it was my favorite color!

I even got to touch the "destery" (pedestrian) bridge!

At the end of the bridge was Coolidge Park. We first rode the giant carousel. I hopped on a white horse. It went up and down as the carousel spun around really fast. I didn't even need mommy's hand to hold me!

Right outside the carousel was a huge fountain with lots of little fountains. It was full of children playing in it. Just like at the zoo, I liked hitting the water.

Around the fountain were animal statues. I really liked the horse and the elephant. I was able to climb on them and I even ate a strawberry Hawaiian Ice on top of one to cool off. You can see the "destery" bridge behind me!

After some fun at Coolidge park, it was back over the bridge. We stopped in at a candy store, and I got Lego candy and jellybeans. We walked around a really neat art district and had a delicious spaghetti dinner and stopped off for dessert afterwards. I had such a great day that I want to bring daddy and Carter back here. Grandma, thank you again for taking me to Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Chattanooga!!! I had so much fun!

St. Louis Fun

We recently took a trip to St. Louis to visit Nani and Papa. We always have such a good time when we go that I decided I wanted to invite Aunt Linny so she could experience all the fun too! We did some oldies but goodies like the zoo, the Arch, the Butterfly House, and the Transportation Museum. But we also did some new things like The Magic House and Dave and Busters that I know we will do again.

At the zoo I really liked seeing all the animals, especially the blue frog. I was so excited when I got to see Horton! He even got in the water and took a bath!

One of my favorite things to do is play in the fountains at the Children's Zoo. I like to hit the water. By the end I was soaking wet! Another fun thing that I love doing is riding the carousel. The first time I rode a caterpillar with mommy. On my second ride, I rode a tiger, or as I like to call to it, the beast, with daddy.

The coolest thing about St. Louis has to be the Arch. I get so excited when we make our entrance into town and I see it off in the distance. My favorite thing to do there is touch it. I even let Aunt Linny touch it! She bought me my own little Arch to take home so I can touch it whenever I want.

The Arch is so high that I have to hold on to to see the top!

Nani and Papa joined us for lunch and then we all headed off to the Transportation Museum. My favorite things to do there besides browsing the gift shop and begging for a truck are ringing the bell of the Polar Express and climbing in all the train cars. I got to see a train transporter car and a flatbed train car. Check out this big locomotive I'm standing on. It's enormous!
