Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Pumpkinfest

My 3rd annual Pumpkinfest was a hit! As you can see, I dressed up as my favorite tank engine, Thomas. Mommy, grandma, and Aunt Winny joined in on the fun. I did lot's of trick-or-treating. The candy barely had time to hit the bottom of my bucket before my hand was in there ready to gobble it up. I lost count of how many suckers I ate! There were so many fun things to do including painting a pumpkin, doing "fun stuff" in the kid's zone, decorating and eating an orange-iced cookie, and feeding the animals "pretzels" in the petting zoo. Happy fall to everyone!

Best Bulldozer Ever!!!

Recently, my favorite store to go to has been Costco. For the past few weeks I have eyed all the Tonka toys, including the "yellow bulldozer." I kept telling mommy and daddy I needed to go to Costco to get a new yellow bulldozer. When they didn't listen, I turned to grandma. I've learned that grandma can't seem to tell me no. Last week when she picked me up from school, she had a "present" waiting for me. It was the "best bulldozer ever!" Thank you, grandma!

Meme and Papa's House

My Meme and Papa have a lot of land with all kinds of animals and a big red barn. This is their new pony. I got to brush her and pat the dirt off her back. I'm still to afraid to ride her. But what I do like to ride is Papa's tractor (big lawn mower)!

After having a Cheetos race with Papa, we played outside for a while and Papa pushed me around in my cousin, Nolan's, pick-up truck.

Gentry's Farm Two

I had so much fun at Gentry's Farm with mommy and daddy that I had to go back. This time I dragged grandma and Aunt Winny. I did lots of "fun stuff" and learned that "ducks eat popcorn?" and cows eat "punkins."

Hello?
I see you!

This is heavy!

Gentry's Farm

Last year was my first time to Gentry's Farm. We all had so much fun that mommy and daddy decided to make it a fall family tradition for years to come. I played in a little log cabin, weaved my way through a corn maze in an old barn, and went on a hayride.

Mommy and I had fun playing in the corn trough. I got in a bit of trouble though when I dumped all my corn on the ground!

There were a few slides, but this was my favorite. I climbed up a ladder inside the barn and slid down over and over.

We saw lots of potential pumpkins in the patch. Daddy picked the best two and let me decide which one to get. I made a great choice, as I got a few compliments on my pumpkin. It's now sitting on the front porch as a reminder of my great day!

Hoot, Scoot, and Boogie

Every fall, my school has an awesome fall carnival called Hoot, Scoot, and Boogie. To prepare for the big day, we had dress up days for Spirit Week, including pajama day, crazy clothes and hair day, sports day, hat day, and finally, Hoot, Scoot, and Boogie t-shirt day. I had such a great time! I started by going through an inflatable obstacle course with mommy.

My favorite thing of all was a 25 foot inflatable slide. I went down it probaby a dozen times!
Mommy and daddy and I had a blast!

In addition to the slide, I really liked the train. I rode it a couple of times too, with daddy, of course!

Mommy said she could kiss these lips all day long!

I was taking everything in atop daddy's shoulders. In addition to the fun things I did, they also had pony rides, karyoke, inflatables, and a dunk booth. Since my Aunt Linny is a teacher at my school, she spent some time in the booth. Even though my throws were close, I pushed the button at the end and gave her a "shower!"

One of the most popular things there was a balloon artist. My daddy loves me so much that he spent over an hour in line just to get me this cute penguin balloon. It was getting so late, I even had to leave to eat dinner before he got it. Thanks, daddy! I love him so much!

Fun with Nani and Papa

Daddy took me to St. Louis to visit Nani and Papa for the weekend. On Friday morning, Daddy and I went to the Transportation Museum. One of the first things we saw was a really big TRAIN!!!

I could get up on some of the trains. This was a caboose that I got to walk through. I loved the stairs climbing up and down.

I also got to walk through a tanker car. The echo inside was funny and I got to yell and hear my voice really loud.

But probably my favorite part was the Activity Center. For 45 minutes, Daddy and I played inside with cars and trains. There was a big ship in the back that I was able to climb and pilot with the steering wheel.

They had lots of these tables with so many toys, I didn't know what to do!

They had a HUGE area with buckets of train tracks! I built my own railroad with tunnels and bridges. Before long, 3 other little boys wanted to play on my railroad because it was the best!

When Nani got home Friday, she had surprises for me!!! With a little of Daddy's help I built this castle. It came with markers so I could draw and color on it. I was so excited, I had to move in right away.

Safe! With my drawbridge up, no one can get me. I love my castle!

A Day with Thomas

I've been waiting for today for a long time. I woke up incredibly happy knowing I was going to see my favorite train, Thomas. Just as daddy wears his Steelers jersey for the games, I wore my Thomas shoes and new Thomas socks for this special occasion. Thanks, Aunt Linny!

It was a rainy morning, but that didn't stop all the fun. Check out my cool Thomas tattoo!
My friend, Luke, was also there to visit Thomas. This little train ride was a warm-up for the real thing.

A Day with Thomas

I really liked the cool Lego Thomas.

I see you!

I'm ready for my ride. Let's go!

Mr. Conductor gave me my own "Jr. Engineer" certificate for riding Thomas. The ride was great. We went on and under bridges, saw the water, and a school bus garage. Thanks for an awesome day, Thomas!

Gymnastics

So, I'm just now getting around to taking gymnastics- a Christmas gift from Grandma and Aunt Linny from last year. I'm really excited because mommy and daddy get to do the classes with me. I was a little hesitant at first but then joined in on the fun. I started out by jumping on the trampoline. My teacher taught me how to do a pencil jump. That's where you jump with your arms above your head.

The next thing we did was go to different centers. My favorite was, "Up the hill, down the hill!" At first, I didn't get that I was supposed to move on to the next center and let everyone else have a turn.

At another center, daddy tried to help me roll and do a somersault. The rolling part was fun, but I think I'll save the somersault for another time.

My favorite part of all was the "blocks," also known to most gymnasts as the pit. Daddy would help me jump high and land right next to mommy. Mommy and daddy are hoping that I will learn to swing on the rings and drop in. Just like the somersault, the rings didn't go so well either. But nevertheless, I really had a great time running, jumping, climbing, and doing all the things I love to do. Mommy and daddy had a good time too, especially since I slept extra well that night! So, thank you Grandma and Aunt Linny for the gymnastics classes. I hope you get to come watch all my tricks real soon!

Summer's Over; Back to School

Today was my first official day at school. I had a really great summer, but I was ready to go back and see my friends, especially Austin and Brennan. Our favorite things to do are play cars and puzzles. There was a new firetruck that was really cool. Since we all wanted to play with it, they ended up setting a timer for us to take turns. I wasn't too happy when my turn was over. My favorite thing to do outside is swing. The best part of the day though is when mommy or daddy come to get me!

Little Helper

I'm quite the helper around the house. I recently helped mommy put together a bookshelf for her new classroom. Lucky for me it doubled as a bridge for Thomas! I also like to help mommy by cooking (stirring kool-aid), doing the dishes (squeezing the sponge), vacuuming (running my firetruck under the hose, or "vacuum bridge), and doing the laundry (dumping all the folded clothes out of the basket.) However, my biggest undertaking was helping daddy build my playset. All those Bob the Builder episodes really paid off!
